The objective of the course is to develop basic skills of the students who will be working
in the hospitality industry in the near future. These skills can be related to food
production (culinary & bakery), food and beverage service, front office operations
and housekeeping operations.
This course equips the students with the basic knowledge about hygiene, food safety &
nutrition. It also provides an opportunity to develop basic understanding about hotel
accounting procedures, MIS in hospitality industry, hospitality law & HRM, management
principles etc…
Apart from that, the course also focuses on overall personality development of the students.

ELIGIBILITY: Candidate should have passed Std XII examination of any
state board / university for higher secondary education or its equivalent
and secured not less than 45% marks.
DURATION: The duration of the course shall be 3 Years. The course shall be a full-time course.
SELECTION: All candidate shall be invited to attend the presentation on the Institute,
along with a written test and personal interview with our selection committee.
The schedule for the test and interview will be intimated to the candidate on receipt
of the completed application form.
INDUSTRIAL TRAINING: Our office of training & placement will coordinate the industrial training for students.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Students, on successful completion of their course from
NIHM (National Institute of Hospitality Management) in Vasai, shall be placed at reputed
hotels & restaurants in India and abroad.
