Program Duration: 1 Week / 2 Weeks
Program Takeaway: Camp culminates in a cooking competition encouraging parent's participation who shall be served by children and each child will be awarded Young Chef Certificate.
Target Age Group: 8 to 17 years.
Primary Focus: Skills relating to food preparation along with food related concepts shall emphasize on healthy eating,awareness of different types of food and importance of home cooked food.Etiquette in and around the kitchen along with food servicing skills shall work on their overall personality thereby inculating attributes like discipline, patience and being organised everywhere.Safety is highlighted along the way when kids shall also deal with other elements of education that includes Science,Math,Reading and Health.
Program Description: How to follow recipe,measure ingredients,mix things properly,handle knifes and quick cooking and serving,basic food presentation methods.
Program Content: Making soups and salads,pasta,pizza,fruit punches/smoothies,cupcakes using flour of daily cereal crops & pulses,whole seasonal fruits and/or vegetables that's affordable and easy available in the market.
